This is the environment/level design created for Regal Beloit Corp. The trainees interact with various elements in each module that educate them on exactly what Regal Beloit wants them to be trained in.
Problem: Training consisted of employees showing new hires how to assemble, build and pack a motor directly on the assembly line. This not only slows down the company's efficiency ratings but it is also a safety risk for new hires.
Solution: Train the new hires in a safe setting (Virtual Reality) where they can interact with an identical assembly line in a structured step-by-step simulation using memorization games, various time trials and difficulty settings along with a strong emphasis on safety.
